I have records from a shrink...

I have records from my old therapist and psychiatrist, from when I was younger. There were two packettes of notes, and lots of notes weren't even included (instead, I got a sheet with somebody's initials and acronyms for what the missing sheets were about).
What struck me, glancing over them, was the utter banality of it all. Social phobia. Recurrent depression. Restlessness. "The patient..." "the student..."
I just don't know what to think of all this. I do know that this moment probably marks the absolute end of any relationship I can have with someone in the mental health professions
