Social decline definition
The other day I was at home getting a shower and laying out my suit for a extremely important conference call and neighbor stopped by for something. As I continued getting ready the individual asked – “Why are you putting on a suit for a conference call, they can’t see you on a conference call?” Without hesitation my response was – “True, but I can see me. Beside, life and the subsequent character of one’s life isn’t about those moments when you are in public view, but rather it is your conduct while not in public view.”
Regrettably there is a malignant tumor quietly destroying American society and culture, whereby one's feelings and their good "intentions" outweigh their actions. It is like PETA imploring people to treat animals like people, whilst PETA euthanizes 90 percent of all the animals they take into their animal shelter.
These cancerous tumors have been responsible for the rapid dissent of fundamentally unique American constitutional, economic and societal principles. But many fail to see the broad scale deterioration of American culture, because these changes are so pervasive and gradual that they seemed almost opaque.
But the following point out to the areas of American culture that progressives have been steadily attacking for nearly 80 years, while there has been a significant change in American society over the past 40 years.
In economics elasticity – “refers the degree to which individuals (consumers/producers) change their demand/amount supplied in response to price or income changes.
Similarly, ethical elasticity is the degree to which members of society change their ethical codes of conduct as the traditional values demanded by society are modified or diluted. Hence, ethical conduct becomes subjective, as opposed to a strict code by which to conduct one’s life.
Thus, in America today ethics are based on what you do when people are watching, as opposed to a code of conduct that is demanded by society regardless of who is watching.

American liberalism (also called modern liberalism) is a political current which claims descent from classical liberalism in terms of devotion to individual liberty, but generally rejects the laissez faire economics of classical liberalism in favor of institutions that promote social and economic equity. It is generally seen as beginning in the first decades of the 20th century, and achieving a political hegemony in the New Deal years that began to decline in the 1970s.
American liberalism arose in the early 20th century as an alternative to realpolitik, the prevailing political philosophy of the time
What is fascism?by penitenciagite
The word has been bandied about by so many people so wrongly for so long that, as Paxton points out, "Everybody is somebody else's fascist." Given that, I always like to start these conversations by revisiting Paxton's essential definition of the term:
"Fascism is a system of political authority and social order intended to reinforce the unity, energy, and purity of communities in which liberal democracy stands accused of producing division and decline."
